In October 2013, after 30 years spent within large international groups, he decided to put his varied experience and his passion for Procurement Excellence at service of small-size companies up to intermediate-sized companies by creating Altaïs Conseil which delivers solutions of Procurement Transformation.
Over the 16 years that preceded the creation of Altaïs Conseil, Nicolas assured Market Manager roles in various fields such as IT, Intellectual Services, Industrial Subcontracting Services and led a network of Commodity Managers. As part of Continuous Improvement Procurement projects, he designed and implemented solid procurement practices, processes and systems facilitating the daily work of a large number of procurement teams being located in various countries in the world. He has designed and implemented various training and coaching programs covering Procurement practices, Procurement processes and systems in an international and multicultural context.
In his consulting activity, the approach implemented by Nicolas for driving the Purchase Transformation is always adapted to the context and the size of any company he supports; generally speaking, this approach aims to transfer skills, expertise and tools to the Procurement organization of the company until its autonomy.
